This is a time sensitive message from Heritage Action, asking us to call the US Senate today. >>Contact Information for Senate
The U.S. Senate is considering its version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Please call to urge them to vote YES on Senator Mike Lee’s amendment to strike the draft requirement for women.
If you see this after today, or hear that this was pulled out of the NDAA, you may want to call anyway. It would let your US Senator know citizens are watching and care about their freedom! >>Contact Information for Senate
I personally think it is important to get to know what is happening in your own county, school district, ward, city, and state. The closer you work on a local level to preserve our republic, the greater is your influence. But this would be a time to join forces to send a message to the US Senate.
People are working hard every day, on every level of government, to take away all our freedoms and liberty. Standing against this effort to remove a harmful part of the proposed National Defense Authorization Act is one thing you may choose to do — to help protect the freedom of women to stay at home and be with their families, go to college, have a career (and still be with their families), be single or married and do whatever they choose to do with their lives.
My husband was a career officer in the U.S. Air Force, and two of my sons were/are in the the military. The sacrifice is great. For one thing, you go where you are told, when you are told. You can, at any time, be put into a situation where you lose your life. People should have the choice whether or not to be in the military.
Don’t sit back and allow people in government to force all women to sign up to be in a position to be drafted, and don’t give people in the government the power to force women into combat. Men shouldn’t be forced into the military either. People should have a choice.
This week the Senate will consider its version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). >>Contact Information for Senate
Please consider contacting your U.S. Senator about this. Thank you. Donna Jack

Subject: Urgent: Call Senate to Stop Draft Our Daughters
To: Rebekah Brown <Rebekah.Warwick@heritageaction.com>
We have an urgent message for Sentinels tonight regarding Draft Our Daughters.
This week the Senate will consider its version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The current version of this bill would force women ages 18-26 to sign up for the Selective Service, i.e. the draft.
According to former Marine Corps servicewoman and Sentinel Jude Eden, “Combat is not an equal opportunity for women because they don’t have an equal opportunity to survive.”
As early as tomorrow morning the Senate could vote on Senator Mike Lee’s amendment that would strike the requirement forcing women to register for the Selective Service and direct the Pentagon to study whether or not we need to force women into combat roles. While the amendment received a vote in committee where Sen. McCain, Ayotte, Fischer, Ernst, Tillis, Sullivan and Graham voted against it, Senate Republicans should vote on the floor to include Sen. Lee’s amendment in the NDAA.
Please call your Senators tonight and tomorrow and urge them to vote YES on Senator Mike Lee’s amendment to strike the draft requirement for women. Let’s fill up the voicemail inbox and make sure they hear from us!
It is imperative we do this tonight and tomorrow morning. Our Senators need to hear from us now.
Thank you for taking action with us and for standing guard for liberty.
