Below is information that will help registered voters in every county in Colorado.

My plan is to refer to this blog in a future blog post when discussing each of the things that will appear both on the Colorado state-wide and Jefferson County Colorado ballots.

Resource documents to help you to prepare to vote on the Colorado ballots
— that will be arriving soon (mid October).

Handy resources:

  1.  The 2016 State Ballot information book (the Blue Book)

that has been mailed to most homes (internet version same as one mailed out):

2.  Information to help you decide whether to retain judges.

0140_Why to vote no on 3A and 3B_2016-08-8 –“The Latest Big Education Fad, Social-Emotional Learning [SEL], Is As Bad As It Sounds” By Jane Robbins–Townhall.com

Donna Jack
September 30, 2016/October 4, 2016 version

At this moment, in Jefferson County Colorado, the school district administration, superintendent, all 5 current school board members (who are all union-supported), the education unions, and “education experts”, are pushing for us to cough up more money in November.  They are mistaken to think that this will help or fix declining education.  3A and 3B ask us to finance their failing policies — and to expand them.

On this November’s ballot, VOTE NO ON 3A AND 3B.
— More money to the schools will only make worse
the serious problems we have in education.

0134_Bernnie Blesses Amendment 69 (Colorado Single-Payer Healthcare)–CO Treasurer Walker Stapleton email against it_Stapleton, Ritter and Hickenlooper agree it would be disastrous_link to resources

September 11, 2016

Our Colorado State Treasurer, Walker Stapleton, has sent out an excellent letter and link that can be shared.  It is simple to read, and shows that the fight against Single-payer healthcare is something that goes beyond any party lines.  It is one more “Constitutional Amendment” that will devastate our budget, and funnel tax money away from necessary services to maintain the financial and physical health of people in Colorado.

Note:  children in schools will be told that Amendment 69 is a good things.  In general, federal/national curriculum teaches students to be socialists/collectivists.

See the end of this blog for links to other Blogs on this site about Amendment 69, or type in “Amendment 69” next to the spyglass at the top of this blog, and press “enter.”

Friend,

Colorado common sense has always served our great state well, and a bipartisan lineup of Democrats and Republicans are standing on the side of common sense this fall and against the single-payer health care initiative known as Amendment 69. Continue reading

Blog 0128_Dr. Jill Vecchio explaining in online video why to Vote NO on Amendment 69 — It will be on this November’s ballot.

Here is a link to the entire 12-page proposed Amendment 69 Initiative measure.  Become familiar with this document.  Check it against any explanation booklet you see.

Senator Kevin Lundberg put together an excellent analysis of Amendment 69, in the form of a tri-fold, that you can print out.

It is important that we work to keep Colorado from having Single-Payer Health Care.   we would be the first state to implement it – having one federally controlled healthcare plan across the country is the goal.  This would give the federal government the control to make all of our healthcare decisions for us — disastrous and dangerous.

Below is linked Jill Vecchio’s recent YouTube on the 2016 Amendment 69 produced by Healthcare Options that Work:

Also look at previous Blogs addressing Amendment 69, which is among many horrible initiatives and amendments that will be on your ballot in a few weeks.   Click on the spyglass at the top of this blog, type in “Amendment 69”  and press “enter.”  Or you can go to the bottom of this blog for a listing of resources on Amendment 69.

Frank Francone sent out this email August 31, 2016.  Note:  I have added titles and divided the email to make it easier to read.

0120_Summary of education issues in the 2016-2017 school year_Bond and Mill Levy Override (taxes) to be on November ballot__Data-gathering video and transcript_PERA — by Donna Jack

Because of what public schools have become, I am sad

to see the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year in Jefferson County, Colorado.  I have witnessed this mess progressively developing since I became aware of the problems in the 1960s.

Some of you may not be aware that schools are not what the taxpayer thinks they are paying for.

Some things that sadden me:

Parents, once again, will be told how great their children are doing (or how miserable they are doing, and that they need to be put on drugs, and fixed by the system).  Parents  will be told how wonderful the schools are, and how excellent their school district is, compared to other school districts (but not told that all school districts keep declining every year).

Most students will be stressed because of all the pressure to “perform” — caused by the lack of tools they have been given to succeed in school (like reading!).  A huge percentage of students are put on mind-control drugs to make them more docile/compliant.  Most kids don’t want to  hurt their teachers and their school, so their own failures to perform will put more pressure on them — they will miss the chance to experience excitement in learning and the adventure of exploring and discovering — they will not enjoy school — they will be dumbed down.

Teachers will be overburdened and discouraged by the controls and requirements that will be forced on them.  They will use their teaching skills less this year,  and they will increasingly be relegated to being “room monitors” while “experts” and computers will individually “school each student.”   They will continue gathering every bit of information they possibly can, on each of their students, and coordinating with every person who has contact with each student.  All the information on a child will continue to be gathered and placed on a dashboard, to make it easier for each child to be analyzed by more people.

The public will be told that the schools must have more money, in order to better teach students.  It is not true.  Increased amounts of money keep being poured into the schools — and the results are:  more social experiments and social engineering — less education — less morality — and more poorly-educated people.

Today I got an email from Frank, a leader in the South Jeffco Tea Party.  In just a few sentences, he reported on the June 9th meeting they had.   You can read their brief summary of some of the things that will be on our November ballot.

One thing they didn’t mention at that meeting, but probably will at next month’s meeting, is a Mil Levy Override.  The Jeffco School Board will talk about and then take action on the Facilities Master Plan, the Bond, and the Mill Levy Override at this coming school board meeting Thursday (June 16).

Consider testifying before our school board on Thursday, June 16.  Let people know what our school board is planning to do.

0102_Only the wealthy should have the right of petition (Initiative 96, on ballot Nov 2016)__I THINK NOT!_dj commentary and an email from Jon Caldara

June 7, 2016

[NOTE:  People across the country will be surprised
to find that things on our Colorado November ballot
will be similar to things on their November ballot.
]

You can read Jon Caldera’s email later in this blog, or view it in your browser.

The main proposed initiative that will be discussed in this post is Initiative 96, and its final version filed with the Secretary of State can be found here.

At the top of this post you will see “2016 November Ballot” in red letters.  Click on those words to get to other articles on this website that talk about the November 2016 Ballot; or go to the Table of contents which is on a separate page of this website.  Search for articles of interest there.

At the Colorado Secretary of State’s office you will find:
a list of the Initiative Filings, Agendas and Results
     proposed amendments and initiatives,
along with deadline dates for comment — and a lot more information.

START STUDYING WHATEVER YOU CAN IN ORDER TO FIND OUT ABOUT
THINGS THAT WILL BE ON THE UPCOMING NOVEMBER BALLOT.
The results from this election will greatly impact your life.

It will take effort on our part to know which things on the November ballot preserve or expand our freedom and liberty — or destroy them.

Find out who is behind each initiative or constitutional amendment and who is supporting each.  Find out who wants them passed, and, if passed, what their passage will do to freedom [The ability to Think, Speak, and Act without Externally Imposed Restraint*] and our liberty [Immunity from Arbitrary Exercise of Authority*].  (*Note:  the definitions with * are from flash cards made by the Center for Self Governance …  http://www.centerforselfgovernance.com/ )

Study to discover unintended consequences.  The initiative or constitutional amendment may sound good, but may take away freedom and liberty.  Share what you learn with others.
