“This is one of a series of films produced by the Extension Department of Harding College to create a deeper understanding of what has made America the finest place in the world to live.”
This cartoon and others are made fun of and cut down, but the fact remains it was not “propaganda” in the sense of telling lies. It was getting a message out in response to the tearing down of America that was going on — a tearing down that continues to this day.
Cartoon predicts the future more than 60 years ago. This is amazing insight!
“This cartoon predicts the future more than 60 years ago. You won’t see anything like this taught in schools today. If you like political cartoons with insight, this is one of the best ever made. If you worry this country is losing freedoms by the day, you are not alone. They tried to warn us in this political cartoon 60 years ago.”

Comments about: Common Core and ESSA – and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.
Common Core was coercively pushed on school districts and states across our country, (using force and threats in addition to bribery) — it was deceptively implemented, keeps growing in its scope, and has not gone away.
Common Core was officially made federal law (ESSA) in December 2015. If Betsy DeVos does not know that, or if she does and is hiding it, she should not be our Education Secretary. We need someone who will honestly and thoroughly champion for local control of education — not just in words, and not just in little parts – but have local control truly be the top priority.
Go to the end of Blog 0205, for some links to other blogs on this website that deal with Common Core. They contain information that will be helpful to people who know nothing about Common Core, and they are also excellent resources for people who have studied Common Core for years.
November 24, 2016 – Thanksgiving Day – Revised Nov. 25, 2016 (6:41 pm)
We spent Thanksgiving with one of our sons, his wife, and three children. All our family gives thanks to our Lord for the blessings He has showered on the United States of America, and on each of us.
My three local grandchildren have been studying American history at home for several years. sadly, most children who attend public schools and many private schools, are taught to hate the United States. All my grandchildren (and their parents, aunts and uncles) love America.
Our three local grandchildren have a large American history library, which includes the Rush Revere American history books that Rush Limbaugh has written for chilcren (They are enjoyable reading or listening for adults as well). The first book in the series is a time-travel adventure leading up to, and including, the first Thanksgiving.
Following is a link to the collection of American History Rush Revere books:
This young man was protesting something similar to what is and has been happening in this country for decades. In recent history education is being increasingly controlled federally, through the Department of Education; Outcome-based Education; Education 2000; The Elementary and Secondary Education Act; No Child Left Behind; the US Department of Education, Common Core; the College Board which owns Advanced Placement and GED; other nationally and internationally controlled organizations; and additional legislation passed through Congress (the Elementary and Secondary Education Act; and Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) that was sadly supported strongly by both parties in Congress during the Christmas season.
This young man who took his own life in Taiwan, most likely was being persecuted mercilessly. This has been happening for decades in the public school arena in our own country — to people who don’t go along – like our 2014/2015 school board majority members and their families. Countless students and adults across this country can share of persecution they have suffered, or suffering they have observed, for not going along with the status quo in public education.
