Our Jefferson County Colorado Public School District Superintendent (Jason Glass), is pushing a huge increase of Leftist, anti-American, anti-White, anti-family, hate-filled class resources onto all grades, K-12.  He is also pushing his own brand of new curriculum on K-12.  See his recommended list of class resources supposedly intended to eliminate hate:

Prager University has recently posted a video about the group from which Superintendent Glass has taken quite a bit of the content for his recommended resource list from — a list of resources he has recently sent out to all the K-12 teachers in our school district.

Colorado Representative Tim Leonard has done us a service, by alerting us to “abuse in the classroom” being expanded through “new” curriculum being imposed on all grades from K-12 — claiming to be in response to events at Charlottesville.  Our Jeffco Public Schools Superintendent justifies his unilateral imposition of the “new” curriculum, and says he is doing it because Jeffco Schools wants children to have an “authentic learning experience.”

In his September 28, 2017 letter, Superintendent Glass links to the Educator Resources for the new curriculum.   If you read through the resource guide, it is evident the children are being pushed to hate.  The curriculum and resources are from a destructive radical left-wing viewpoint.  EVERYTHING is hateful.  Teaching children to hate in the name of fighting hatred, is ridiculous.  Groups recommended as a resource, have an obvious left-wing bias that you can see on their websites – and the curriculum focuses on hate, negativity, and censorship.  Go to Blog 0261 on this website, for a video by Prager University, explaining who the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) is.

You can link to the Educator Resources document, which has live links to most of the groups being used for Superintendent Glass’ new curriculum content — and examples of their curriculum plans.  Note the international, not American, emphasis on some sites.

How do children learn to be kind and loving?

Children learn to be loving and kind by witnessing love and kindness — not by being shown  negative ugliness over and over every day.  Those behind this curriculum know exactly what they are doing!  They are conditioning our children through this curriculum (and all other curriculum that is like it), to hate and to act out their hatred — beginning in kindergarten.  [Note:  they have influence in preschool and day care as well.]

The message below was sent to me on 16 August as a parent of children in Jeffco public schools from the new Superintendent Jason Glass.  It informed me that he has decided to introduce new curriculum into the Jeffco schools in all grades in order to use the events at Charlottesville for an “authentic learning experience” for the children.

Twelve days later on 28 Aug, I was sent another more detailed message as a Jefferson County Legislator explaining the significant amount of interpretive information the Superintendent’s “curriculum and instructional team has pulled together for educators” regarding the violence.  I have included this email information for you as well.  Dr. Bill Bennett, secretary of education under President Ronald Reagan, told attendees at the Values Voter Summit Friday that President Donald Trump’s Cabinet is a “more conservative cabinet” than Reagan’s Cabinet was.

Bennett – now a radio host and author – specifically named current Education Secretary Betsy DeVos “my friend … who is fighting to empower parents,” as an example of conservatism, and defended her signature policy of school choice.

However, both Bennett and DeVos have come under fire from many conservative parents throughout America for their support – mentioned or otherwise – for the Common Core standards. The movement to eradicate the federally funded and supported Common Core has been led by one of the most significant “populist” grassroots efforts in decades.

As Breitbart News reported in 2014, Bennett drew the ire of anti-Common Core parents throughout the country after penning an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal that made a “conservative case for Common Core.”

 In his column, Bennett reiterated all the “talking points” of the pro-Common Core education establishment. His remarks – especially from one who served in Reagan’s Cabinet under a president who had desired to eliminate the U.S. Education Department (USED) – led to an uproar. My husband is taking online, the Hillsdale College class “Introduction to the Constitution.”  It is free. It is one of a number of classes Hillsdale College offers free online.

In light of the gross ignorance of the Constitution in our country — and the frightening results of that ignorance that we are seeing around us — it is important that people become aware of our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence.  We need knowledge in order to be able to stand up to protect and preserve our nation.

For decades, our public schools have been omitting this knowledge from being available to students.  In fact, grossly false information about our country, our founding, and our freedom, continues to be taught throughout the schools.  Children and adults have for a long time been taught to hate America,not understanding the unique blessing it is on us and on the world.

Dr. Larry Arnn – teaches “Introduction to the Constitution”

Dr. Larry Arnn is the teacher for the 11 lessons of an “Introduction to the Constitution” class.  He has been president of Hillsdale College since 2000.  He is the kind of person that you gladly listen to — because of his extensive knowledge, and his enthusiasm for whatever subject he speaks about.

In this series he serves as more of a moderator that  one giving a lecture.  He is working with freshmen and sophomores at Hillsdale College.  The information is a very good review, or foundation if you have little knowledge of the Constitution.

In the second class on the Constitution, a number of people take turns leading the sessions, using a lecture format.

There is an interesting article in the latest monthly publication of Imprimis, published by Hillsdale College.

The April 2017 featured article is based on a speech that Kimberley Strassel gave at Hillsdale College in April.  You can read The Left’s War on Free Speech   online  at imprimis.hillsdale.edu/lefts-war-free-speech/  

In light of the displays of anarchy on city streets, and also on College and University campuses — and in light of the training and conditioning of students in public schools —  and the conditioning being done by most of the main-stream media, with the goal:  to hate the United States of America and shut up anyone who disagrees — this article is timely.
