There are many good resources for learning about the Pilgrims’ “first Thanksgiving.”

Sad to day, there are even more resources to find lies about the founding of our country.  Advanced Placement (AP) American History is one of those dishonest resources that push ugly lies about our founding.  AP courses in general, are painted as the very best schools have to offer (plus they provide cheap college credit, an enticement for parents).

Text of an email that arrived today from Prager University:

Let us begin with a very terse description: Cultural Marxism is a broad term which refers to the advocacy and application of critical theory, and more generally to the cultural, political, and academic influence of certain elements within the contemporary Left.

The roots of Cultural Marxism are to be found in what is commonly known as the Frankfurt School.

The term arose informally to describe the thinkers affiliated, or merely associated with, the Frankfurt Institute for Social Research at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, during the interval period.

Critical of both Capitalism and Soviet Socialism, they sought to address the perceived shortcomings of Classical Marxism in the pursuit of societal change.  Their work came to be known as Critical Theory. Continue reading

We spent Thanksgiving with one of our sons, his wife, and three children.  All our family gives thanks to our Lord for the blessings He has showered on the United States of America, and on each of us.

My three local grandchildren have been studying American history at home for several years.  sadly, most children who attend public schools and many private schools, are taught to hate the United States.  All my grandchildren (and their parents, aunts and uncles) love America.

Our three local grandchildren have a large American history library, which includes the Rush Revere American history books that Rush Limbaugh has written for chilcren (They  are enjoyable reading or listening for adults as well).  The first book in the series is a time-travel adventure leading up to, and including, the first Thanksgiving.

WHAT SCHOOLS IN GENERAL ARE NOT TEACHING — WHY?

H.L. Mencken wrote in The American Mercury in April 1924
that the aim of public education is not:

“…to fill the young of the species with knowledge and awaken their intelligence… Nothing could be further from the truth. The aim… is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to put down dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States… ”

Coordinated education

Worldwide, education has become a coordinated effort to control the minds and bodies of all people.  That has always been the goal under dictatorships (Marxism, Socialism, Communism, etc.)  The nature of dictatorships is to program the minds of adults and children (from birth to death) — in order to contain and manipulate them.

Schools, in general, are not teaching students

to be able: to read; to love reading; to write (in schools cursive is not in the national standards, and almost no printing is taught); to  be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide; to memorize the abc’s, math tables, names/dates . . .; to research outside the limited material that is  provided and recommended by school curriculum; to learn from history, including knowledge of of America’s founding; to learn to think independently and to communicate; to debate and defend positions logically; to learn about and discuss different faiths without condemnation of the faiths or condemnation of the people within the faiths, or those talking about the faiths (including Christianity and Judaism).

Schools in general are censoring what students can say about political philosophies (like Nazism, Socialism, Communism, Fascism, Republics, Democracies, Oligarchies, Monarchies) ….

WHY all the controlled censorship and carefully structured fabrication of false “history” that avoids basic U.S. History and avoids the U.S. Constitution and our Bill of Rights?  These were written to protect us from a tyrannical government.
