Last evening Curtis Bowers and four of his nine children were at the Evergreen, Colorado showing of Agenda 2.

Up until around Thanksgiving, the Bowers family plans to continue their United States tour promoting the documentary Agenda 2 —   revealing the truth about the deliberately-designed and executed plan to destroy our country.

You have two more chances (July 15 and 17) to meet Curtis Bowers in Colorado, listen to him speak, ask questions, and visit with him before and after the showing of his second documentary, Agenda 2.

From the beginning, many people knew where RTTT and Common Core would lead.

There are people across our country who have known since the introduction of Race to the Top (RTTT) in 2009, that it would be a giant step toward putting all control of public, private and home schooling, into the hands of a few people.

This is part of a planned takeover of the control of education by people outside our government.  It is being funded mostly by our own tax dollars.  This subject is talked about in blog 0074_Common Core: Subversive Threat to Education_Karen Bracken_April 8, 2013_YouTubeHere you can also find a “searchable” transcript of the entire YouTube of Karen Bracken’s presentation.

Those who want centralization of our education system were pleased with RTTT (the funding and implementation apparatus for Common Core).

People aware of this government take-over of our education system, have been spreading the word, in the hope of getting back local control.

Some people who in 2009 – 2004 were supporting Common Core and Race to the Top (RTTT) thought they would help improve our education system.

Some people who did not want centralized control, and at the same time didn’t understand the implications of RTTT (which forced Common Core education uniformity throughout our country) — still supported RTTT and Common Core State Standards (CCSS).  They gave their support to CCSS, thinking they would only be a national recommendation for minimum goals that individual states should aim for.  They would say, “Common Core State Standards are recommendations with no strings attached, and we can choose to follow or ignore them — they are just a recommended floor (minimum standard),  not a ceiling.”  They Continue reading

In the first chapter of John Taylor Gatto’s book, Weapons of Mass Instruction: A School Teacher’s Journey Through the Dark World of Compulsory Schooling,1  he shares some things that are not reported in curriculum and teachings in compulsory schooling, and are not to be found reported in our society in general.  People today don’t realize that compulsory schooling was never intended to educate, but from its inception, it was meant to destroy education in the United States.

Mr. Gatto gives evidence of this intent to destroy, and reports on some successful accomplishments of this goal over the years.

In Chapter one, under the sub-title “We Don’t Need Brains,”  he shares that the rapid decline of education in our country started to be seen in this country, after a small group of people had been meeting and planning together for a number of years.    This group was made up of people and heads of organizations that intentionally set out to secretly destroy education in this country, for their own secret political, ideological and financial reasons. They decided that the ability to read (literacy) was standing in their way of taking over this country.

To be a place to learn about Compulsory Public Schooling

The previous school board majority (recalled in 2015 after 2 years on the board) — were beginning to make some good changes in the Colorado Jefferson County school district.  They had begun to address the reckless spending, and made school board meetings and their own actions open to the public.

But the current school board is returning to the same old practices that had existed for decades in this school district, under democrat majorities.  The current democrat school board  is taking away the money that the previous republican majority had put aside to pay cash for a school — and instead they are borrowing money for the school, doubling its cost, and using the cash for other things.  And once-again they are returning to minimal public comment and minimal-if-any open discussion – decisions are being made without public discussion, and even without board discussion.

Future blogs on this site

This site will begin to focus more on giving the history of public compulsory schooling, and the stated goals of its founders and supporters since its inception and up until the present.  This will better equip you to understand what kind of decisions are being made outside the view of the public, and to help you better interpret public schooling laws, regulations and practices that exist — like the recent re-authorization of No Child Left Behind that was passed with strong “bi-partisan” votes before Christmas.  It does not do what people were told it would do.  It continues the Type #2 schooling.

Here is an article that includes some of the points Mr. Gatto makes in the books that he has written.  The article was written June 2015, and is a good place to begin learning about compulsory public schooling.

Mr. Gatto’s book mentioned above is a book well-worth acquiring.  On pages xviii through xix, he gives the REAL list of the “six basic functions” of “modern schooling.”  If you read it very carefully, you will get a shocking glimpse into the subversive world of compulsory schooling. Continue reading
